Re: moaners stinking the place out again

Don't let facts like that get in the way of a good witch hunt.

Previously it was the false claim that Allardyce shoehorned Nolan in to the team as soon as he retuned from injury and that he always picks him over other players.

That one appears to have gone a little quiet after the last two games, although I suspect it will come to the fore again the next time he sets foot on the pitch.

Plzzzz - all BFS apologists, suck ups and members of the fat smelly walrus club. It's all a waste of time arguing as his contract will not be renewed
and especially now we've (yep that old WHU adage) come down with the Christmas deccies. Now if he goes back to the old formation there might be a glimmer of hope for him.

He seems not to rate the sahko/ Valencia partnership..which is fuckin odd considering what we achieved with it.
Brought the best out of downing as well.
Fat fuckin northern oaf

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
the point is no matter how bad sakho or carroll played yesterday, sakho injured or not was coming off (valencia if he was playing the same) and there lies the problem with walrus's management style. nothing to do with merit or assessing the situation and all about sticking to his target man principles

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
True, but he usually gets 90.

And were we treated to v and s for the last part?
No

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
Oh! I thought Carroll only got 83minutes yesterday?

Mad Dog 6:37 Fri Jan 2
Re: moaners stinking the place out again
Comma. My big issue now is that he replaces valencia with sakho and vice versa. Carroll gets 90 minutes no matter what.

Sam has truly shown his colours i think

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
He lost Sakho to injury after the Villa game [ 0-0 with Sakho and Valencia playing ]. Carroll then came back for the Everton game and Sakho was not then available till the Swansea game where he replaced Valencia for the second half and scored.

Allardyce lost the S&V partnership to injury after the Man City win [ the partnership began with the 2-2 at Hull ]. They were back for the home 0-0 with Villa and they were both injured for the Everton game where Carroll made his return. Carroll then lead the line for the 1-0 against Newcastle with both S&V injured.

To claim that BFS not injury broke up the S&V partnership is inaccurate.

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
Rubbish CHL! I'm sure that's not correct. Sakho got injured on international duty. Nolan had a long wait after injury too...

COOL HAND LUKE 6:11 Fri Jan 2
Re: moaners stinking the place out again
He wasn't 'forced' into breaking up the side that was running riot and scoring for fun though, was he? HE ripped it up to reinsert Carroll and Nolan, and that is pure bloody mindedness.

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
I do like the fact that we deride Newcastle for their fickle supporters.

BFS is having a good season. Would be stupid to out him now.

If we slide down for the rest of the season that's one thing, but if he closes it out with anywhere near the fist half form them he deserves to stay.

We are not a top four club - yet.

"Willtell
I suspect like many others you are not keen to keep Sam, but you are nervous about the board's ability to make a successful change?"

I don't think Sam is right for WH but I don't let that rule my head. Others will tell (sic!) you that I started saying SA should not have his contract renewed last time. Then I thought he'd taken us as far as we can go.

This season has shown that he can take us much further. We were CL positions for weeks but have slipped a little lately but that isn't any reason to chuck the baby out with the dirty bathwater.

He will be searching for the key to get back to winning ways but you can be sure that it has occurred to him that the changes he was forced into making have not improved matters. Although he is a dinosaur in CL clothing, he has shown that he can change.

Why on earth would I or anyone else want to call for his head now? We all know G&S will not let that happen so let's save the ridiculous stuff until we get out of this bad period. Even high flying Southampton had a 4 game spell of losing....

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
The only thing wrong yesterday was Carrolll should have been swapped for Valencia to partner Sakho before he got injured. Like i said earlier i'm looking at our lame run of form coinciding with our fullbacks lack of assists.

Outplayed on the flanks against Chelsea, Jenkinson missing against Arsenal, Shite against West Brom except for Creswells assist for out goal.

Our goal against West Brom was our strength and that being consistent is the key. Yesterday Crewels cross was the only for our goal was the only decent one of very few i remember plus Jenkinson put a good one in and Carroll was too tired to get in the right spot, oh and Jenkinson's for Jarvis to fluff other than that we was lame in our strongest asset.

Mad Dog 5:12 Fri Jan 2
Re: moaners stinking the place out again
SIde of ham. Nothing to do with carroll being shoehorned in at the expense of the proven partnership of valencia and sakho then?

That's just about the most damning thing I've read on the subject of Allardyce.

Take a bow Comma.
